The information we are receiving indicates that the International Day of Support for the People's War in India on November 24 was a great success of proletarian internationalism and a great advance in the propagation of this heroic mass war and its party, the CPI (Maoist) in India.
From Italy to Tunisia, from Ecuador to
Canada, from the United States to Germany, from Brazil to Denmark, from Colombia
to Norway, from Spain to Switzerland, from Ireland to Mexico, from the
Philippines to Afghanistan, from Turkey to France and Austria, thousands of
posters, banners, graffiti and other acts of propaganda have shown the sympathy
and support of the masses all over the world for the revolutionary people's war
in India.
In Galicia, our committee launched an
intense campaign calling on other political and social forces to support the
campaign, but incomprehensibly only the comrades of Red Galicia took a public
position in favour of the 24 November.
With our forces, we carried out an
extensive graffiti campaign and put-up posters in the towns of Vigo, A Coruña,
Ourense, Compostela and Lugo, as well as propaganda events at the Congress of
the CIG-SERVICES union and the pro-independence mobilisation in Lugo of the
"Estreleira Project". The campaign culminated on 24 November with a
Modi doll hanging from a bridge in Vigo. This campaign in Galicia allowed us to
open support for the People's War in India to other sectors and to receive more
support and even the possibility of holding conferences in various social centres.
But, of course, it was not all
support. We did not expect it from
revisionists and reactionaries, but we did expect a different attitude from
some ML organisations, from progressive sectors and even from some Maoist organisations.
There are inexplicable and inexcusable silences, incompatible with proletarian
internationalism.
We must not forget that the triumph or
defeat of the People's War in India is our triumph or defeat.
We also want to be self-critical and given
that, although the campaign was successful in terms of propaganda and
agitation, we were not able to hit the fascist and genocidal Modi government
hard, except for the action at the embassy in Milan where the officials got
nervous and tried to stop the protests.
For future days of support, we must be
more forceful in our actions and have more impact. We call for the formation of
Support Committees in all parts of the world and to prepare future action’s days
with more strength and forcefulness. We have to be, we must be a real front of
the People's War abroad.
Long Live the People's War in India!
Long Live Proletarian Internationalism!

People's War in India
